“The numbers shared in the FY 2014 Annual Report tell a positive story for City Market,” said Pat Burns, General Manager. “We’re pleased to show that our Membership is growing, that we were able to return almost $1 million in profits to our Members, and to share all that we’ve accomplished working with our amazing community partners this past year. All of this is made possible by the support of over 10,000 Members who own our Co-op and over 200 staff members who keep us running smoothly and offer great service.”
As the number one single store food co-op in the United States in terms of sales, City Market recognized over $38 million in sales during FY 2014, 36% of which was from local products.
