Vermont Farm to School Conference

The conference agenda will include 26 workshops led by national, regional and local leaders in the farm to school movement, including two extended afternoon sessions on Wednesday, November 2nd focused on curriculum design and storytelling. National Director of the USDA Farm to School Program Deborah J. Kane will address the conference as keynote speaker on Thursday, November 3rd.

The 2016 NESAWG It Takes a Region Conference

NESAWG's annual It Takes a Region Conference brings together farm and food systems practitioners across the 12-state Northeast region to learn, debate, collaborate, and innovate solutions to critical food systems issues. Each year, we look at the trajectory of the food and farm movement and the role our network can play in shaping its future. We offer in-depth working sessions that tackle important questions about our regional food system and how to strengthen it, drawing from the collective expertise and wisdom of conference attendees.

Northeast Food System Communications Training at #NESAWG16

Join us for a half-day communications training on Thursday, November 10th from 1 to 5 pm at the Hilton in downtown Hartford, Connecticut. This skillshare-style training will provide creative solutions to common challenges faced by Northeast food system organizers. This professional development opportunity is designed for both communications professionals and beginners; everyone is welcome. The training is part of the annual Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Working Groups (NESAWG) "It Takes a Region" conference on November 10-12, 2016.
