CAE is looking for an experienced Development Manager to join the team in Hardwick!
This role will report to the Executive Director, and will play a part in the long term and strategic vision and viability for our organization. The position is parttime to begin, with the potential of growing over time. This role will be critical in advancing the mission of the CAE, and in helping to support both our general operations and our specific program areas. Tasks for the job will include overall annual fund activities, summer fundraiser activities, communication and grant writing/research activities and donor data management.
Required Skills: Candidates must have previous experience in fundraising, with preference for environmental and/or local community projects work. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their experience managing donor database software, and must have proficiency in the use of computers and related software such as MS Word, MS Excel, and Google Drive and Calendar. Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, with strong verbal communication skills. Preference given to experienced fundraising individuals who are looking for Vermont-based non-profit work, and who are interested in growing with CAE over time.
