Resilient Vermont Network
535 Stone Cutter's Way Institute for Sustainable Communities
Montpelier, VT 05602

The Resilient Vermont Network is a new collaboration of organizations and agencies in Vermont that are working to advance climate resilience. The Network is working to improve alignment, coordination, communication and strategic impact across a range of issues related to climate resilience. Ultimately, the goal of the Network is to ensure that Vermont is better prepared for and able to more effectively manage, bounce forward and reduce costly impacts from natural disasters and climate-related shocks, and the risks they pose to our economy, environment, and social well-being. That includes building healthy soils and watersheds, ensuring that all Vermonters are food secure, and building thriving local economies.

I am Principal of Community Workshop, a small Vermont consulting firm working to help build vibrant, engaged communities. I work with organizations and communities across the country on creative engagement, resilience, placemaking, communications, program development and planning. Current projects and clients include Vermont FEED and the Vermont Farm to School Network, Resilient Vermont Network, Community Resilience Organizations, Bethel University, and the EPA Local Foods for Local Places program. In my free time, I love to get my hands dirty with my two young girls, tending our backyard garden, orchard and chickens.
