One of the many initiatives in the Office of Sustainability is our Organic Garden Program. We are actively involved in finding more ways that are students can learn about the Vermont Food System, get hands on experience in growing healthy food, and understanding the role they have in advancing agriculture in the state of Vermont

Since 2008, I have been the Sustainability Coordinator at Saint Michael’s College. I facilitate the development of strategies for incorporating environmental sustainability into the academic, residential and operational activities of Saint Michael’s College. In addition to running the Office of Sustainability, I manage the college's Organic Garden, Recycling & Compost Program, advise Green Up, our student environmental club, collaborate with community organizations, work closely with the Environmental Studies major and much more. Prior to my current role: Campus Climate Intern at Clean Air Cool Planet, and Environmental Center Intern at Fort Lewis College. I received a Master of Science in Sustainable Food Systems from Green Mountain College in July 2015 and am on the Advisory Board for Sodexo's Vermont First Initiative (2015-2016).
