Bob Kort has been with Vermont NRCS for more than two decades. He currently serves in a variety of roles, including that of energy coordinator and manager of the Conservation Innovation Grant program. Past responsibilities included watershed planning and urban stormwater management. The NRCS Energy Initiative broadens the opportunities available from the agency for agricultural producers to increase profitability while being good land stewards. Financial support available for agricultural energy management plans (energy audits) and implementation of recommendations in the audits.

Amy Overstreet is a 22 year employee of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and served most of this time in her home state of SC and in January of 2015, transferred to Colchester, VT to serve as our VT NRCS' new Public Affairs Specialist. She served a one year detail to the National Soil Survey Division, NRCS, Washington, DC, in 2015 to lead the agency's International Year of Soils campaign. Amy has a BA in English and Art History from Wofford College, and a MA in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina. She is a former professional ballet dancer and in her free time is involved with VT's Farm to Ballet project as an outreach liaison.
