For six years, farmers have been inviting the public behind the scenes to experience and to celebrate Vermont’s agricultural heritage.
Open Farm Week is a great way to engage with customers and your community. During Open Farm Week farms across the state will offer a range of activities and events from on-farm dinners to workshops to concerts to tours that are uniquely crafted at every farm. You can choose any day during the week to host an event, or have events on multiple days. If you aren’t sure what kind of event to plan, the Open Farm Week Committee offers technical assistance and can offer information and resources to help you craft your on-farm event.
Registration for farm participation is open now on DigInVT.com and will run until July 1st.
Vermont Open Farm Week is made possible by the generous support of the partner organizations that make up the Open Farm Week Committee: City Market, NOFA-VT, Farm to Plate Network, Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets, Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing, Vermont Fresh Network, Vermont Farmers Market Association, Shelburne Farms & Farm-Based Education Network, and UVM Extension.
