Kingdom Farm and Food Days

Come and explore our region’s rich food and farm scene! The Northeast Kingdom Farm & Food Days is a weekend long celebration of regional farms, local food, gardens, small producers, and agricultural businesses.

Pasture Walk Workshop                                                           

August 17, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Snug Valley Farm in Hardwick and Shat Acres in Greensboro host this workshop for those wishing to learn more about beef production and pasture management. Check the website for tickets to this event ($60 to $70).

Butterworks Farm Tours and Smoothies

Butterworks Farm is a ground-breaking organic dairy farm with beautiful Jersey cows. The Lazor family makes artisan yogurt, cheese, and more. The family will offer farm tours and smoothies.

Pete's Greens Open Farm Day                                            

Saturday, August 19 11am to 2pm
Farm Tours at 11:30 and 1, Drink tastings 11 - 2, Food made by New England Culinary Institute 11 - 2, VT99 grilling meats, Farmstand open, Lawn Games! Pete's Greens will be open for a day of fun and food! Join us for lunch prepared by NECI featuring our farm-grown produce and meats from neighboring farms, plus a cheese tasting with cheese from local producers. We'll have wagon rides, farm tours at 11:30 and 1, games, and drink tastings from Eden Ice Cider. VT99 will grill their pastured pork products.

Agape Hill Llama Farm Open House and Tours

High Mowing Organic Seeds Open Field Day                      

Come visit High Mowing Seeds on Sunday, August 20th! We'll be opening up our Trials Field on Marsh Road in Wolcott, VT from 12pm until 6pm!
Bring your family and friends to this fantastic kid friendly event! We'll have free workshops and tours of our fields. We're really happy and proud to show our neighbors and out of towners what we've been up to this season. Lots of time, hard work and planning go into our trials and production fields and we would love to share the fruit of our labor with you... literally. Come take a look at and taste what we've been growing!
