2013 Summit on the Future of Vermont's Working Landscape

124 Admin Dr
Randolph Center, VT

The 2013 Summit on the Future of Vermont’s Working Landscape is designed to bring all parties and partners together, build unity and momentum, and identify the next steps that will advance public policy and investment to support the long-term future of the Working Landscape of Vermont.

The day will kick off with a welcome from Governor Peter Shumlin and Speaker Shap Smith and throughout the day over 90 panelists and speakers will share their views on how to strengthen and spur Vermont's working lands economy. Lunchtime will feature the "Take a Tour of Working Lands" exhibit - a photo display sharing stories of Working Lands Innovators and celebrating projects funded through the Vermont Working Lands Enterprise Fund.

Join together with hundreds of Vermonters - farmers, forest products leaders, value-adding entrepreneurs, investors, policy leaders, community residents, and all who care about the future of Vermont's Working Lands - to celebrate the success of the Working Lands Enterprise Fund and to identify actions to encourage policymakers to continue this important work.
