Mead is an ancient tonic beverage that’s currently regaining popularity. Learn how herbs, fruits, honey and yeast create the fermentation magic that results in delicious mead, or honey-wine. We’ll brew up an herbal tea from fresh herbs and one from dried herbs and demonstrate the process of turning them into mead. Class includes a sample glass of Betzy’s famous mead and a handout with procedures and recipes.
