Having A Family Cow is designed to help you navigate the new and exciting world of owning and caring for a family cow & calf.
Topics to discuss will include:

Class will include some hands-on learning and will provide you with a list of useful books and resource links, livestock product catalogs, and product samples to get you on your way.
Cost: $60 per person, $110 for 2 people. Limited to 9 participants

About the Instructor: Lisa McCrory is a Grazing and Whole Farm Planning consultant with 30 years of grazing experience and training in Holistic Management (c). She co-owns and operates Earthwise Farm & Forest : a draft-animal powered, certified organic farm that incorporates biodynamic, ecological and regenerative principles & practices. They produce grass fed raw milk; pasture raised chicken, heritage turkey, beef, Muscovy duck, pork; ecologically managed forest products; and organic vegetables, herbs & cut flowers.
