The Just Transition is a framework for planning our transition from an extractive economy to a regenerative economy. Kali will bring his experience of building a hub of cooperatives and community organizing at the Cooperation Jackson network, and will explain what the Just Transition represents. This workshop and the others in our series are aimed to address the mounting need to educate youth and adults in our work and communities about the racial equity, frontline leadership, effective climate solutions, and cooperative economic efforts we need to employ to build a survivable, thriving transition through the crisis facing our economy, our neighbors, and our movement allies.
