Date: March 17th
Location: Vermont Technical College, Randolph Vermont
The purpose is to help answer these big questions:
How can colleges be leaders in changing the food system through education and purchasing?
How can a college farm intersect both academics and food purchasing/preparation?
We will hear from innovative projects underway and also give participants the time to work together. The Target audience includes students, dining services, administrators, producers, distributors, food system junkies. The over-arching Goal is to Build cross-office/cross-disciplinary teams from different campuses to both learn from other campuses, and have time to work together on some visioning/planning/discussion about their campus food system.
