Create ideal habitat for the birds and the bees in your garden. Join Red Wagon Plants and the Audubon's Gwen Causer for an early-season gardening workshop and birding outing.
To survive, both birds and pollinators need native plants and the insects that have co-evolved with them. Bird and bee friendly gardening provides food and shelter, saves water, and fights climate change. We’ll focus on getting early-season blooms into your garden and think ahead to providing food in every season for wildlife. We’ll talk about Audubon’s Plants for Birds database and have a conversation about the power of native plants to help grow a better world for birds and bees.
This is also a birding event! We will use both sight and sound to witness our avian neighbors around the nursery, observing their behavior as they return from their migration journey and establish their breeding territories. Cost $15. Register online at redwagonplants.com
We strive to make garden education affordable to everyone. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about our scholarship fund.
