In this first seminar, Doug Lantagne will speak on the goals of the seminar series and the opportunities for UVM's campus food system to emerge as a model in university food service. Eric Garza will provide a presentation on how food and energy systems interact at local, regional, and global scales. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A discussion session, at which participants will be encouraged to share questions, ideas, and inspirations for sustainability in the UVM food and energy systems.
