Rural Vermont's 29th Annual Celebration will kick off with a potluck supper, cash bar, and plenty of time for networking and socializing with old and new friends. Following the brief business meeting, several farmers will take the stage to share personal stories that, not only demonstrate their passion and connection to the way they raise food, but also reveal many of the barriers preventing or impeding food freedom, and even feeding a black market. The stories will provide the context for an interactive discussion about solutions moving forward, and how people can lend support to this movement to regain our food freedom. If you care about what you eat and the people who produce real food, this is not a conversation - or event - you want to miss!
This free event is open to all. RSVP at www.ruralvermont.org and be entered into weekly drawings leading up the event.
