Join UVM Extension Northwest Crops & Soils program and Seth and Jeannette Johnson of Morningstar Meadows Farm to learn more about growing dry beans and grains. Meet us on Tuesday, August 5th, 11am to 2pm at Morningstar Meadows Farm at 170 Dwinell Drive, Glover, VT.
The Johnsons grow 8 types of beans including heirloom varieties. They also grow 10 acres of mixed grains for a diverse livestock. Seth will talk about their fertilizer program, weed control, harvesting, and processing. Heather Darby, UVM Extension Agronomist, will also provide up-to-date information on our research.
