12 Annual Pumpkin Festival at Cedar Circle farm & Education Center

Lots of family fun and free activities! Ongoing horse-drawn wagon rides to the pumpkin patch and corn palace. Enjoy children’s crafts and games in the enchanted forest, meet the visiting owls from VINS, and listen to Simon Brooks Storyteller spin tales (10:30, 11:30 & 1:30), face painting and cider pressing. Listen to live music throughout the day from three great Upper Valley bands: Stovepipe Mountain Band (10-noon on the north stage facing the pumpkin patch), The Cold River Ranters (10 under big tent, 12:30 & 2 on the south stage), and Haywire (12-3 under the big tent). Eat well from the Organic Good Food Concession: farm-made butternut apple crisp, pumpkin brownies, grilled local sausages, fresh salads, organic local ice cream, plus wood-fired pizzas from NOFA-VT’s mobile oven and goodies from VT Crepe and Waffle. Win prizes donated by local businesses in our Share our Harvest raffle (drawing at 2:30). Solar bike inventions, educational activities and displays, and self-guided farm tour.  Rain or shine. $10 per car (carpooling strongly encouraged).  Walk or bike and get in free! A Green Event - help us to reduce waste, bring your own plate, cup, and silverware. No pets please. Details at
