Wholesale Market Production: A UVM New Farmer Project Webinar

Focusing on the model of selling wholesale to a food processor, Annie Rowell, Program Manager at the Vermont Food Venture Center talk about wholesale markets (product specs, delivery container types and more), review food safety requirements and share information about how farm agreements work. She will also share resources available to farms, including sample enterprise budgets and a resource guide.  


The Vermont Food Venture Center is a food processing facility in Hardwick that specializes in making fresh cut and frozen vegetables made from local crops for institutional markets.  What sort of crops are they looking for?
