Join Emily Irwin for a chance to learn about the art of blending teas and find the inspiration to make your own perfect blend! We’ll explore our Bulk Department’s myriad teas and discover the health benefits of each one. We’ll also learn how to merge flavor with health whenever making a blended tea and dig into the “Triangle Theory” of designing blends. And since we love to apply our knowledge, we’ll also learn how to brew a great pot of tea and sip away!
Emily Irwin is certified from the clinical training program at Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism, which is a first of its kind three-year training program. This schooling includes a scientific approach to phytochemistry and pathophysiology, which complement the holistic approach of Eastern medicine and hands-on clinical experience that are emphasized in the third year of training. Emily’s clinical approach is to offer many options for health care, with an emphasis on protective/preventative methods. By bringing knowledge of plants to clients, a greater web of public health will be cast to support our daily needs and also assist our quest for knowledge and support for difficult or confusing health concerns. She seeks to be a node in the community health care web and be a superb resource for knowledge and services.
