The Vermont Agency of Agriculture Food and Markets, Healthcare Without Harm, and Farm to Institution New England are partnering in sponsoring this Forum specifically for Vermont’s health care organizations.

The forum will bring together hospital food service directors, Vermont producers, key supply chain partners, and hospital administrators to address procurement opportunities and barriers to sourcing local, sustainable foods. The event will cover a range of topics aimed at building relationships among producers, distributors and buyers. We will discuss the details of why this market has increasing value to Vermont producers and the important standards in meeting healthcare needs to increase hospital supported agriculture. Participants will leave with concrete strategies to meet the needs of the healthcare sector and a renewed support network for fostering change.
