American Flatbread Hosts A Benefit Bake for Rural Vermont:
Tuesday, September 15th in Burlington
On Tuesday, September 15th from 5-11:30 pm, American Flatbread will host a Benefit Bake where part of the evening’s proceeds will Rural Vermont and their work in making sure Vermont farmers and customers can buy and sell the foods of their choice.
American Flatbread will host this event at their Burlington Hearth location, at 115 St. Paul Street. For every flatbread sold, the restaurant will donate part of their proceeds to Rural Vermont. This applies to all in-house and take-out orders.
There will also be the chance to enter an “Eat Like a Farmer” drawing, where a contribution of any amount will make you a Rural Vermont member and put you in the running to win the a delicious prize! Each member of Rural Vermont’s Board of Directors has donated something they’ve grown, raised, or made for the raffle.
American Flatbread and Rural Vermont both see the importance of access to good food that is healthy for you, while supporting local farmers. The restaurant uses organic ingredients purchased from local farms to make their delicious and healthy flatbreads.
