ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION OF DAIRY CATTLE AND REPRODUCTIVE MANAGEMENT

Students will receive an overview of the bovine reproductive cycle and common reproductive management interventions.  The class will spend three hours developing palpating skills and three hours artificially inseminating dairy cattle. (12 hours lecture, 6 hours laboratory) 

This course is one part of a Cattle Series run through the Institute for Applied Agriculture & Food Systems.
