Integrative Permaculture Course

334 Geary Road South
Lincoln, VT

Metta Earth Institute is a center for contemplative ecology and a homestead located on 158 acres of field, forest, farm, and pasture. We are a non-profit, educational retreat center integrating contemplative practice, deep ecology, regenerative food systems, and social activism to create resilient sustainable communities. Throughout the summer, we hold four Ecological Leadership Intensives that integrate hands-on, experiential learning with a conceptual exploration of how to build healthy communities that are rooted in nature.

Join us for our Integrative Permaculture course! Actualize your leadership potential to lead people and groups to take a stand for a sustainable, just, and thriving world. Participants will be able to leave with a PDC through our 9-day program and/or an Advanced PDC with the following 6-day program. Participants will leave with experiential land-based skills as well as an understanding of social permaculture concepts. Some of these skills and concepts include permaculture design principles and ethics, mapping skills, polyculture and guild implementation, fermenting foods, whole foods preservation, carbon farming, core processes of community building, governance systems, regenerative economics, non-violent communication, leadership processes, and more.
