Join the Addison County Hunger Council and ACORN for a discussion about the importance of school meals for addressing childhood hunger in Addison County. The meeting will be held at the Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society in Middlebury on September 16th at 4:00pm. The meeting is devoted to School Food Service and nutritious meals for students.

With support from the USDA’s Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (NE-SARE) program UVM Extension will offer five one-day workshops on crop storage throughout Vermont this fall. Workshops will focus on long-term storage of crops for sale through the winter and into early spring, but will be relevant to many agricultural and food storage needs.
