  • The position is responsible for compiling, formatting and uploading data for required regular reporting to USDA. Examples of work include maintaining review schedules, reviewing free and reduced meal for errors, reviewing documents submitted by the field for completeness, checking review files to ensure completeness, and formatting and sending review notices and reports and other correspondence written by the lead reviewer.
  • The position performs child nutrition program specific administrative support for eight other child nutrition staff members. Examples of such work include: assisting with planning and logistics for child nutrition conferences and training events, formatting and sending program correspondence, formatting items to be posted to the web, assisting program staff with approving applications from program sponsors, and maintaining extensive program files.
  • Finally, the position will be responsible for reviewing back-up data submitted by School Food Authorities (SFAs) for participation in the Community Eligibility Provision and Provision 2 programs. This includes checking student names supplied by the SFA against a list maintained by AOE, and reviewing free and reduced meal applications to ensure that correct eligibility determinations were made.
