Hooker Mountain Farm, L3C

Hooker Mountain Farm, L3C is a small, 65-acre farm in the foothills of Cabot, Vermont. HMF is committed to preserving Vermont’s working, agricultural landscape and raising happy, wholesome animals on a sustainable scale. Our animals are pastured in fields and ranged through forest below Hooker Mountain, near Groton State Forest and at the top of the Winooski River watershed. We practice rotational grazing, improve soil through smart animal husbandry, and otherwise keep our environmental impact very low, in part by doing a lot by hand!. By keeping our farm small and our methods sustainable, we offer high quality meat, eggs and maple syrup produced right here in Vermont. And as an L3C organization, our farm’s profits are reinvested into furthering our mission to protect and enhance our region’s working landscape.
