I am a recent University of Vermont graduate with a Masters of Science in Community Development and Applied Economics. I developed a passion for food systems when I attended SUNY New Paltz in the beautiful, agricultural Hudson Valley of New York State. In the Hudson Valley region, I spent years organizing and contributing to the local food movement through activism and economic development work. After moving to Vermont for graduate school, my passion for understanding and improving food systems has deepened. I am excited to continue my commitment to food systems research and strategy, especially in the areas of energy use, climate change, and labor.
