College Scholarships Available from the Vermont Dairy Industry Association

Deadlines for 2015-2016 VDIA Memorial Scholarship applications are coming up! Vermont residents enrolling in any year at an accredited college or university and seeking a degree in dairy business, dairy science, or a related field are eligible. Past recipients may re-apply if still eligible. Selection is based on academic achievement, letters of recommendation, and an essay describing commitment to a career path related to the dairy industry. One to six scholarships are to be awarded, ranging from $500 to $1000.

The Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) administers the application process for the VDIA Memorial Scholarship. The VDIA scholarship committee determines the awards.

The Early Bird Postmark Deadline for all VSAC-Assisted Scholarships is February 6, 2015.  Completed applications (including all required documents) postmarked on or before February 6 will be entered in a drawing for one of three $1,000 scholarships.

March 6, 2015, is the Final Postmark Deadline for ALL VSAC-Assisted Scholarships. Only completed applications including all properly labeled required documents postmarked on or before March 6 will be reviewed.
