Vermont Farm & Forest Viability Program

Seeks Individuals & Firms to provide business advising to farm, food and forestry sector businesses

Qualifications Due: November 19, 2014

Networking Event: December 2, 2014, 2-5pm, Vermont College of Fine Arts, Montpelier, VT

The Vermont Farm & Forest Viability Program is seeking individuals and firms that are interested in providing business-related services to the agricultural and forestry sectors. As part of a network of organizations in Vermont that provide business planning and technical assistance, we are continually seeking qualified consultants that can help deliver business-related services to our farm, food and forest-sector client businesses, from financial analysis and strategic planning to marketing assistance, legal advice, management coaching, and a variety of other services.

In an effort to facilitate networking between the individuals and firms with these skills and the service provider organizations in our network, we are sending out the attached Request for Qualifications; individuals and firms are invited to provide submissions which we will collect and circulate amongst our organizational peers. This will be followed by a networking event where consultants and firms can here from each of our organizations to become familiar with available consulting opportunities.

For more details, please see the full RFQ here.

Please also forward this announcement to individuals, consultants, firms and other organizations that may be interested or can help spread this information far and wide. We invite consultants with relevant expertise but with little experience with these kinds of businesses to respond – we are interested in finding people with transferrable skills to work with farm, food and forestry businesses!

Thank you!
