Cindy Delgatto is the Program Manager for Windham Grows where she shares her deep community roots and genuine belief in the power of relationships. Cindy is a multifaceted professional who has enjoyed the diversity and creativity of working in hospitality and food industries, shared the passion for craftsmanship in the wine and spirits business and most recently has served as a regional workforce developer for individuals with barriers to employment. One common thread is her commitment to excellence in service and a mission to create connected spaces for people and businesses to thrive. Cindy is a proud member of the Brattleboro Sunrise Rotary and serves on the Executive Board of the Brattleboro Chamber of Commerce. Originally from the Catskill Mountains, Cindy and her husband Leonard happily call Brattleboro home and when she is not organizing, planning or collaborating in her community she is spending time with her three grown children, one very spoiled dog, in her vintage camper exploring new places or grounded in her garden.

I BRING MORE THAN CREATIVITY Early in my career, I worked on a project with renowned designer Milton Glaser. It was a career-changing experience. One of his best pieces of advice: I can’t simply sit back and design, I must be more versatile. I developed that versatility during a decade at Jager DiPoala Kemp Design (JDK) working with Karhu, Kelty, STX, RockShox, and Burton. We used great design along with business acumen, brand strategy and positioning, insightful client management, and best-in-class innovation to bring ideas to life, and exceed client goals. In 2000, I became an entrepreneur. I founded two (in succession) successful design studios including Vermont's first food agency, Skillet Design. As owner, partner, and creative director, I’ve been involved in design and branding initiatives for some great companies such as TDK Electronics, Jetboil, JK Adams, Vasa, Bridgedale, VT Nut Free Chocolates, Blake Hill Preserves, and Black River Meats. Design opportunities included identity, print, packaging, websites, and trade show spaces. As an entrepreneur, I relied on this versatility to take on roles that assured our success as well as that of our clients. Keeping a focus on the big picture and the vision and clarity to achieve growth was critical. The ongoing goal to be creative and innovative helped me realize I met Glaser’s challenges. When I work with you, I understand your business from multiple perspectives. I go beyond just design. I consider: • your performance goals • growth strategies • brand positioning & evolution • the relationship I work with your internal or external team to bring original insights and creative thinking to your project, and future plans. Strong brands don’t just happen. My approach: • Clarify your focus • Understand your trends • Magnify your differentiation I make sure the tenets of your brand are communicated effectively, and bring the brand to life. It’s what I’ve done for 27 years.
