On August 11th, join hundreds of community builders from across the state to gain skills and cultivate connections for a vibrant future. This event is a chance to explore how we can work together to get things done, even when times are tough and resources are limited. Through workshops, panels, group discussions, and networking, participants will gain useful ideas, make connections, and hear inspiring success stories and tips.
The Summit will offer a diverse range of topics tailored to support and connect community builders, such as: supporting our neighbors, improving rural services, keeping volunteers and staff, getting involved in community, strengthening leadership skills, growing the local economy, and more. Attendees can participate in any sessions of interest to them or follow optional Participation Pathways:
- Community Leadership Skills
- Arts and Culture: Creating Community, Solving Problems
- From Idea to Action
- Navigating Change and Uncertainty
There will be a BIPOC Affinity Space presented by VT Professionals of Color Network open to Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color throughout the day and will be staffed from noon to 4pm.
All who care about their community and the future of our state are welcome and encouraged to attend!
