Green Mountain Farm-to-School (GMFTS) promotes the health and well being of Vermont's children, farms and communities by providing programs to connect schools and farms through food and education. GMFTS supplies fresh, local food to schools and institutions and gives students of all ages the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy food choice through GMFTS’ school gardens, Farm to School Programs, food hub, and mobile farmers market. Founded in 2008, GMFTS has grown rapidly expanding their programming to serve schools and communities across northern Vermont.
