The Dairy Section at the Vermont Agency of Agriculture is hiring a Dairy Farm & Products Specialist at multiple levels (I, II, III) to support Vermont’s dairy farmers and processors. This role combines regulation, education, and technical assistance to ensure the safety and quality of dairy products—from milk production and hauling to cheese, yogurt, ice cream, and more.
This home-based position uses a state vehicle for inspections and will be assigned to Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, or Lamoille counties, with occasional statewide travel.
Applicants should have experience in dairy farming, processing, sanitation, or food safety.
Compensation: $29.15 - $45.58
