Liberation Ecosystem, Inc. (LEI) is a BIPOC-led climate and social justice organizing hub striving to build power and opportunity centered in the needs of Vermonters of Color Deeply rooted in our four focus areas - Land, Environment, Agriculture, and Foodways - we facilitate skillbuilding, solidarity, and healing for the most vulnerable and visionary in our communities. Our ultimate vision is the creation of a robust and thriving ecosystem that centers the power of Black, Indigenous, and Vermonters of Color.
LEI is seeking to expand our programming capacity by bringing on a part-time manager as an Ecosystem Weaver (EW). In this role, the Ecosystem Weaver will bolster the organization’s ability to connect BIPOC Vermonters with resources, leadership opportunities, and one another. To achieve this goal, the EW will maintain perennial monthly programs, solicit input on community needs to shape new programs, expand existing program evaluation tools to measure impact, and contribute to report narratives as needed. This role will conduct an analysis of existing members and programming to highlight unrecognized or unexplored opportunities; This analysis will inform the work and programming that they develop and execute.
The compensation for this position is $30/hour
Benefits include: pro-rated paid time off, paid summer and winter breaks, employee vision and dental health benefits, and a professional development stipend. This is a permanent position, contingent on funding.
