Our farm kitchen creates a fantastic assortment of fresh, seasonal foods using organic fruits and vegetables grown on-site. We are seeking Kitchen Assistants to help prepare food for our farmstand, café, and meal programs during the peak growing season.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow recipes to prepare fresh, high-quality meals, cold salads, and lunch offerings for the farmstand and café.
• Wash, chop, and process seasonal fruits and vegetables for preserving, freezing, and meal production.
• Work with the kitchen team to contribute ideas for weekly and monthly menus for the Dinner Share program and farmstand offerings.
• Portion, package, and label prepared foods for retail and CSA meal programs.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized workstation while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Adhere to all established safety protocols and health inspection standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying on task.
• Comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback, and adjusting to kitchen needs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
• Willingness to collaborate with the kitchen team and contribute to a positive work environment.
