Philo Ridge Farm is seeking a highly motivated self-starter who is passionate about sustainable farming to serve in the role of Land & Livestock Farmer and assist in daily equipment and grazing operations.
The primary focus of the Land & Livestock Farmer is to assist in the daily equipment and grazing
operations within the Philo Ridge Farm Land & Livestock operation. Working closely with the Land and
Livestock Manager, the Livestock Farmer will be an integral part of the farm’s team by focusing on
equipment maintenance, haymaking, compost production, and other landscaping operations. The
individual will also support daily livestock responsibilities, including routine field rotation, temporary
fencing adjustments, caring for all Philo Ridge Farm animals, feeding pigs and poultry, overseeing general
animal husbandry, and handling additional tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of Philo
Ridge Farm.
Compensation is based on verified experience. $45,000 -$55,000
