About Philo Ridge Farm
Philo Ridge Farm (PRF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) working demonstration farm located in Vermont’s Champlain Valley. Using innovative and ecologically sustainable practices, we steward over 500 acres of pastureland, forests, and diversified produce gardens. We rotationally graze heritage breed livestock and cultivate certified organic fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Our mission is to promote organic regenerative agriculture through hands-on research, education, and community engagement. As a nonprofit living laboratory, we provide farmers, students, and the public with opportunities to explore sustainable farming practices. Through educational initiatives and collaborative partnerships, we seek to deepen our understanding of food systems, environmental stewardship, and the essential role of food and agriculture in building resilient, healthy communities.
Line Cook
Philo Ridge Farm is seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team in delivering seasonal, farm-driven cuisine at the highest standards of quality and presentation. Working closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff, this role is responsible for the precise and efficient execution and plating of menu items, maintaining proper ingredient handling, and minimizing waste. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and communicates clearly to support seamless kitchen operations and daily service.
The Line Cook position is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including availability for mornings,
evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Production Cook
Philo Ridge Farm is seeking an experienced and collaborative Production Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Rooted in a commitment to sustainability and farm-to-table excellence, our kitchen showcases fresh, seasonal ingredients—many of which are grown and raised right here on the farm. This role works closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure the accurate, efficient, and timely execution of recipes while upholding our high standards for quality, consistency, and ingredient integrity. Responsibilities include receiving, cleaning, and properly storing locally sourced and in-house products, with careful attention to product rotation and minimizing waste. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented environment, communicates clearly, and brings a passion for sustainable food systems and respect for the origin of every ingredient.
The Production Cook position is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Compensation ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
