Vermont Salumi is an artisan meat company dedicated to crafting high-quality salami and cured meats using traditional methods and responsibly sourced ingredients. 

Vermont Salumi is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Order Fulfillment and Inside Sales Lead to support our growing business. This role is responsible for managing inside sales activities, processing and fulfilling online orders, and handling a variety of administrative tasks that support daily operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage inbound sales inquiries from wholesale and direct customers
• Fulfill sample requests and follow up with retailers
• Process and fulfill e-commerce orders from our online platforms
• Address customer questions related to online orders, shipping, and returns
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies
• Maintain accurate inventory of all skus across our online platforms
• Support sales with in-person customer visits and product demonstrations

• Support production team with wrapping, packaging, and other work as needed

  Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, able to quickly learn new software
• Self-motivated and reliable, with a team-oriented attitude
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Experience in food or specialty food industries (preferred)
