Description

The Brattleboro District Office of Vermont Department of Health has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Nutritionist who wants to make a difference in the health of families in Windham County. We are seeking a well-organized and compassionate Nutritionist with great communication skills to complete our public health team in the Brattleboro District Office.

The Nutritionist III oversees the local implementation of the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) while providing supervision to nutrition staff. This role also provides direct nutrition services to WIC families and builds collaborative partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and the Vermont WIC Central Office team. The position participates as part of a multidisciplinary public health team, including emergency preparedness efforts.

Duties are performed under the supervision of the Public Health Services District Director. This position maintains a consistent physical presence in the office and community to support program operations and community partnerships with at least 3 days in-office each week with the option to telework the other days.

Compensation and Benefits

Minimum Salary:  $30.92
Maximum Salary:  $48.48
