Another Major Milestone for the Vermont Farm Show
The Vermont Farm Show is now a federally recognized 501(c)3 Non-Profit Public Charity Organization!
After months of work preparing financials, narratives, and filing official documents with the state of Vermont, the Vermont Farm Show submitted their IRS application for federal tax-exempt status late winter. We are thrilled to announce that we received our official non-profit declaration letter from the IRS stating that the Vermont Farm Show is recognized as a 501c3 tax-exempt, public charity.
What does this mean? It means that the Vermont Farm Show can now secure donations from individuals, businesses, and grant sources to support its work lifting up Vermont agriculture.
This news comes at an exciting time as the organization is not only accepting donations now, it is also soliciting exhibitor applications for its April 2027 Farm Show, and connecting with businesses eager to be part of the show’s return through sponsoring the event.
