Join the Advisory Committee

FINE seeks applicants to join the Advisory Committee to plan the 2027 Northeast Farm to Institution Summit! Since the inaugural event in 2015, The Northeast Farm to Institution Summit (F2iSummit) has been a pivotal gathering place for a wide network of individuals to spark ideas, build partnerships, share resources and skills, and strengthen our collective impact.

Each Summit takes shape through participatory design informed by regional farm to institution partners, at the heart of which is the advisory committee: eight people who represent New England and New York, institutional sectors, and who have professional expertise and/or lived experience across the food system. Apply by April 3.

FINE recognizes that the inequities in our food system impact some communities more than others, in particular:

1. Farms, producers, and food businesses, with an emphasis on those from communities who have been structurally excluded from funding, resources, and decision making.
2. Communities and eaters who are impacted by institutional food systems and/or rely on institutions for a majority of their food and nutrients, with an emphasis on communities facing food apartheid.

Folks that identify as members of these communities are encouraged to apply.
