Help make Working Lands Enterprise Initiative funding more accessible & equitable!

The Working Lands Enterprise Initiative (WLEI) wants your feedback on how to make the grant program more accessible and equitable. There are two different surveys for two different audiences.

One survey is for Vermont-based working lands businesses (farm, food, forest products). We are seeking anonymous feedback from businesses that:

• Have applied for a WLEI grant and didn't receive funding
• Applied for a WLEI grant and did receive funding
• Have never applied for a WLEI grant

This survey will take approximately 10 - 20 minutes to complete (please note that the survey does not have to be completed in a single session). All responses are anonymous; your honest feedback will be used help inform recommendations for improving future funding opportunities.

Please complete the survey by December 1, 2025. Respondents who complete the survey and provide their name and email via the separate link at the end will be entered in a drawing for a $50 dollar gift card. Four prizes will be handed out.

Take the survey for businesses

The other survey is for service providers and producer associations that serve Vermonters:

• Organizations or associations that have applied and/or have been awarded service provider and/or producer association funding directly from WLEI
• Organizations or associations that have not applied for any service provider-related WLEI grant
• Organizations or associations that have assisted businesses with WLEI business grant applications

This survey will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes to complete (please note that the survey does not have to be completed in a single session). All responses will remain anonymous unless you elect to provide your contact information at the end of the survey. Please complete the survey by December 1, 2025.
