RFP Release: Connecting Restaurants and Specialty Crop Producers

Chef prepping vegetablesThe Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets (VAAFM) seeks a contractor to help facilitate networking and meet-up events to help specialty crop producers and restaurant buyers connect with each other and communicate their business needs and product information. Events will include opportunities for key restaurant staff to visit specialty crop producer farms, and for specialty crop producers to visit restaurants. These exchanges will include both in-person and virtual formats. The overall goal of this project is to increase the amount of Vermont-grown specialty crops sold to restaurants.

All bidders responding to this RFP are required to be registered in the state's procurement system, VTBuys (vtbuys.vermont.gov).  As this process often takes a couple weeks, at a minimum, the awarded bidder will be required to provide proof of submission of initial registration in the VTBuys system.
