Save the Date-The Vermont Farm Show is Back!

BIG NEWS!!! The Vermont Farm Show to Return in April 2027!

A reenvisioned celebration of Vermont’s rich agricultural heritage will return April 16-17, 2027, as the Vermont Farm Show returns to the Champlain Valley Exposition, Essex Junction, VT. The event will bring together farmers, producers, industry, and the public for an experience that honors tradition while embracing innovation. This all marks a new chapter as the organization pursues their federal 501(c)3 nonprofit status and the development of year round educational opportunities aimed at strengthening Vermont’s farms, and the public’s connection to the working landscape.

The Vermont Farm Show has long been a cornerstone event for the state’s agricultural community. The 2027 relaunch of the show will feature interactive exhibits, updated programming, and enhanced opportunities for education, networking, and community engagement. The show aims to strengthen connections between farmers and consumers while providing a collaboration across the agricultural sector in Vermont. The Champlain Valley Exposition, Essex Junction, Vermont, offers extensive space and the facilities to support the show’s return.

“The Champlain Valley Exposition is proud to welcome the Vermont Farm Show back in 2027! This event closely aligns with CVE’s mission and celebrates the individuals who are the backbone of Vermont’s agricultural community. Its return is the result of tremendous behind-the-scenes collaboration, and we are grateful to play a role in bringing it back. We look forward to seeing the Vermont Farm Show thrive once again.” -Brenna Deavitt, Director of Special Events/Champlain Valley Exposition

Attendees can expect a dynamic lineup in 2027, including local food and product vendors highlighting Vermont-grown goods, exhibits showcasing the vast diversity of services and businesses connected to agriculture in Vermont, and family friendly activities designed to educate and inspire the next generation. The networking opportunities will offer an unparalleled place to identify and cultivate connections as we celebrate Vermont’s unique agriculture sector in support of its future.

“It’s wonderful to see the Vermont Farm Show return—such an important event for agriculture and for everyone who makes a living from the land. COVID disrupted so many of our traditions, which makes this gathering even more meaningful,” said Anson Tebbetts, Vermont Secretary of Agriculture.  “Congratulations to the board for bringing people back together to share, learn, and connect within the farming community. We look forward to gathering again in April.”

Organizers are encouraging interested exhibitors, sponsors, and partners to participate in shaping the renewed show. Additional information, and to get involved, please visit www.vtfarmshow.com.
