Vermont Cheese Council Announces 2026 Artisan Cheesemakers Conference
Vermont Cheese Council will be holding its 2026 Artisan Cheesemakers Conference at The Hub CoWorks in Rutland on Friday, May 1. Storytelling is the theme of this year’s conference; while content is specifically geared toward cheesemakers, it’s open to all: makers, mongers, chefs, retailers, industry folk, and food producers of all flavors!
Join us for a full day focused on stories, flavors, and flair behind "successful" cheese. How do we guide cheese from farm to plate? How do we share our story in a compelling way, across a range of audiences? How do we connect the dots between flavor and provenance?
Programming:
- The Art of Storytelling with Adam Davidson (founder of NPR's "Planet Money")
- The Art of Tasting with Yvonne Yeoh (Neal’s Yard Dairy in the UK)
- The Art of Tabling with Emilia D’Albero (winner of the 2025 Mondial du Fromage international cheesemonger competition) and Kat Filipkowski (Di Bruno Bros. of Philadelphia)
Tickets are $125 each, with limited capacity. View detailed session descriptions and speaker bios, and register your seat at https://vtcheese.com/conference. Vermont Farm to Plate members can receive a discount on registration by reaching out to education@vtcheese.com with proof of membership (a screenshot of your F2P profile page suffices).
