Vermont Cheesemakers take the top prizes and many more at the American Cheese Society Competition

The American Cheese Society (ACS) was founded in 1983 and through efforts including education, outreach, and networking events they work to promote artisinal and speciality American cheese producers. At this years 31st annual cheese judging competition 16 Vermont Cheesemakers took home 34 awards including the top prize for the second year in a row!

This years Best in Show cheese was Farms for City Kids Foundation's tarentaise reserve. Other Vermont Winners included:
