At our non-certified organic farm and farm stand we strive to provide the best quality food to our friends, neighbors and local schools. In our fields you will find many heirloom and uncommon plats along side easily recognizable staple varieties, our way of helping ensure the future of a diverse and sustainable food source. You will also find in our customers a wide variety of people from the 'organic' only to the 'good food is good food' and everyone in between. You will see smiling young faces running around the farm stand and some elderly customers who drive right up to our front door and place their order from their car. We are happy to serve everyone, and proud that our farm has such a diverse following! For 2015 we are instituting a 'farm share' program, similar but different from a CSA. Ask about the details!

Gibou Gardens is your hometown Non-Certified Organic Vegetable and Fruit Farm on Route 15 about 2 miles west of Hardwick village. In our farm stand we offer quality foods from our own fields as well as other certified and non-certified organic growers in the area. We carry a limited amount of traditionally grown foods from other Vermont vendors to bridge seasonal gaps. As our regular customers know, we are happy to tell you exactly where the food is from, what growing practices are used, and in our case, a tour of the fields and facilities if you wish! We are local The farm is located on the remaining 4 ½ acres of the original Leriche farm from the 1950s. Over the decades the field was used as a hay field, a large garden, a baseball field, a Christmas tree plantation and now again a garden. This property has been in the Leriche family without interruption for the past 60-plus years. If you stopped by the farm stand this past summer you may have met a young lady running the cash register, she is the 5th generation of farmer on the property! New for the 2015 growing season Farm Shares! Unlike a CSA (community supported agriculture) model, a farm share allows you to prepay for the food you want at a discount. A $50 farm share saves the customer 5% at the counter, a $100 farm share saves 10% and a $200 farm share saves 20% at the counter. Why a farm share is a different and smarter way to pay: you decide when you want your food; you decide what you want in your box on the way out the door. You will always get the food you choose, when you choose it. Gift certificates are available in denominations of $20 to $200 as well. Farm shares and the more traditional certificates make great holiday gifts for family and friends. Farm share—”you decide what you get for your money”
