Maine Food Strategy

The Maine Food Strategy is at the very beginning of developing a plan and organizing a network. Muskie School of Public Service, where I work, was hired to be the backbone team in 2011, and we've been collecting information and talking to stakeholders. The Steering Committee met for its first time in December or 2013, after an extensive public call for nominees. We'll be presenting them with a report about past plans and plans from other states (like Vermont!), so they can begin to talk about values and goals in 2013.
