This document is the first half of a short guide on how the community food system strategies recommended in Farm to Plate resources relate to ARPA funding guidelines. This portion of the document provides a general framework for thinking about potential applicability of ARPA funding, and suggestions for how to begin identifying effective projects.

This article provides a look into counting local food consumption, including many lessons learned. Recently published in JAFSCD, it outlines the methods to count progress and learnings from a multi-year effort by Vermont Farm to Plate.

The Plan contains a vision for Vermont's food system in 2030, 15 strategic goals, and 34 priority strategies. It is based on a series of 54 food system product, market, and issue briefs highlighting current conditions, bottlenecks and gaps, opportunities, and recommendations.
